1. Power Off and Remove Skimmer: Ensure your Betta robotic pool skimmer is powered off and removed from the pool. Place it on a clean, flat surface, preferably upside down, to access the underside.
2. Locate Existing Bumper Bars: Identify the current bumper bars installed on the underside of your skimmer. There are typically four attachment points.
3. Remove Old Bumper Bars: Gently but firmly pull each existing bumper bar straight out from its mounting slot. They are designed to be removable. Avoid twisting or excessive force to prevent damage to the skimmer's housing.
