The Kingston Brass KX1071BD is a single-function hand shower kit designed for a comfortable showering experience. It features durable brass construction, a 59-inch hose, a shower arm diverter for easy installation, and an adjustable wall bracket.

Before you begin, ensure the main water supply to your shower is turned off. Gather necessary tools: adjustable wrench, plumber's tape, and a soft cloth.
Step 1: Prepare the Shower Arm
- Remove your existing showerhead from the shower arm. Clean any old plumber's tape or debris from the shower arm threads.
- Apply new plumber's tape clockwise around the threads of the shower arm.
Step 2: Install the Shower Arm Diverter
- Thread the shower arm diverter onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten first, then use an adjustable wrench to tighten an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Do not overtighten.
- Ensure the diverter lever is positioned for easy access.
Step 3: Connect the Shower Hose
- Connect one end of the 59-inch shower hose to the outlet on the bottom of the shower arm diverter. Ensure a washer is inside the hose connection. Hand-tighten.
- Connect the other end of the shower hose to the hand shower head. Ensure a washer is inside this connection as well. Hand-tighten.
Step 4: Install the Adjustable Wall Bracket
- Determine the desired height and location for the adjustable wall bracket.
- Mark the mounting holes. Drill pilot holes if necessary (check wall material).
- Secure the wall bracket to the wall using the provided screws and anchors.
- Place the hand shower head into the wall bracket.
