To install the battery pack, align the battery pack with the tool's receptacle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the battery release button and pull the battery pack out.

3. Base Attachment and Removal
To attach the fixed base, align the base with the router motor and slide it up until the locking tabs engage. To remove, depress the two locking tabs on the side of the base and slide the motor out.
