5.1. Installation Location Recommendations

• For indoor ceiling installation only.
• Install this product at potential fire starting points. If multiple fixed spaces are present, install the product at each location.
• If the room length exceeds 12 meters, install an alarm at both ends along the length.
• According to national safety standards, every floor must have an alarm installed, including the kitchen and hallways.
• Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm from flammable furniture.
• Do not install in bathrooms or areas with splashes or steam.
• Do not install near heating or ventilation outlets.
• Do not install in areas with combustion fumes, such as chimneys or new stoves.

The CR123A battery is pre-installed. To activate the detector, remove the insulation tab from the battery compartment. The device will not function until this tab is removed.

5.3. Installation Method (Screw Installation)

1. Mark the center point of the two holes in the bracket at the selected installation place on the ceiling or wall. Drill expansion pipe to make it flush, bit, and drill wall.
2. As shown in the figure below, align the installation position on an angle, opening the product body clockwise.
3. Install the product body clockwise into the bracket.

Alternatively, use the provided double-sided adhesive pad for installation on smooth, clean surfaces. Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust or grease for optimal adhesion.

6.1. Test/Mute Button

Press the 'MUTE | TEST' button on the front of the detector to perform a self-test. During a test, the alarm will sound briefly, and the LED indicator will flash. This confirms the unit is functioning correctly.

In case of a non-emergency alarm (e.g., cooking fumes), press the 'MUTE | TEST' button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 10 minutes. The detector will automatically reset after this period if the smoke/heat levels return to normal.

6.2. LED Indicator and Alarm Signals

7. תחזוקה

Test your smoke detector at least once a month by pressing the 'MUTE | TEST' button. Ensure the alarm sounds and the LED flashes. If the alarm does not sound, check the battery or replace the unit.

Clean your smoke detector at least once a year. Gently vacuum the exterior of the detector using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Do not use cleaning solvents or spray directly onto the unit.
