Follow these steps to install your BRINKS Portable Security Door Lock:

1. Choose the Correct End: The portable door lock features two different-sized ends on the metal plate. Select the end that best fits the strike plate of your door. The smaller hole is for standard residential doors, while the larger opening is designed for bigger deadbolts, often found in hotels.
2. Insert into Strike Plate: With the door open, insert the chosen end of the metal plate into the door's strike plate (the metal plate on the door frame where the latch enters). Ensure it is securely seated.
