The One Key board game is a cooperative deduction and image interpretation experience designed for 2-6 players, ages 8 and up, with an approximate playtime of 20 minutes. The objective is to collaboratively identify a hidden "Key" card among several unique image cards.

Players work together with a team leader who provides clues based on the affinity of other cards to the hidden Key. Through careful deduction and elimination, the team must narrow down the possibilities to reveal the correct Key card without accidentally eliminating it, which results in instant defeat.

1. Prepare the Cards: Shuffle all 84 unique image cards thoroughly.
2. Select the Key Card: Randomly draw one card from the shuffled deck. This is the "Key" card. Place it face down in the designated "Key" slot behind the folding screen, ensuring only the Team Leader can see it.
3. Set up the Clue Area: Place the three Clue Area Tiles (Green, Yellow, Red) in a row in front of the folding screen.
4. Distribute Clue Tokens: Place the 9 Clue Tokens (3 Green, 3 Yellow, 3 Red) near the Clue Area Tiles.
5. Form the Display: Draw 10 additional cards from the deck and place them face up in a visible area for all players. These are the "Display Cards."

7. Turn Tracker: Place the Turn Tracker and its token nearby.
8. Choose a Team Leader: One player is designated as the Team Leader for the round. This player will operate the folding screen and provide clues. Other players form the "Team."
9. Optional App: Download and launch the official One Key companion app (available for iOS and Android) for a 3-minute timer and background music to enhance the game experience.

The game is played over several turns, with the Team Leader providing clues and the Team eliminating cards. The goal is to eliminate all cards except the Key card.

1. Team Leader's Turn:
   • The Team Leader draws 3 new cards from the draw pile.
   • For each of these 3 cards, the Team Leader secretly decides its "affinity" to the Key card:
     • Green Clue: Strong connection to the Key.
     • Yellow Clue: Medium connection to the Key.
     • Red Clue: Weak or no connection to the Key.
   • The Team Leader places each of the 3 drawn cards face up on its corresponding Clue Area Tile (Green, Yellow, or Red) behind the screen, along with one matching Clue Token.
   • Once all 3 cards are placed, the Team Leader reveals them to the Team.
2. Team's Deduction Phase:
   • The Team discusses the revealed clue cards and their assigned affinities. They must use this information to deduce which of the Display Cards are NOT the Key.
   • The Team must collectively agree to eliminate a certain number of Display Cards each turn:
     • Turn 1: Eliminate 1 card.
     • Turn 2: Eliminate 2 cards.
     • Turn 3: Eliminate 3 cards.
     • Turn 4: Eliminate 4 cards.
   • Once the Team agrees, they remove the chosen cards from the display.
